Join us on the first Saturday in June anytime between 10 am and 3 pm to hit the trail, learn about our heritage, and explore our natural and cultural resources. Pick up a passport when you arrive. On your trail adventure you’ll find stops all along the 11-mile trail between Columbia and Shock’s Mill Bridge. Stop to get your passport stamped and do some fun trail-side activities. Drop your passport off at any trail-head to be entered to win great prizes!
Need a rest? Watch the Chesapeake Bay Foundation CANOE CLASSIC at Columbia River Park at 11 am. High school students from across the Keystone State team up in pairs of two and put their canoeing skills to the test against other high school teams. Students can register to participate too.
This event is organized by the Susquehanna Riverlands Conservation Landscape which includes partners such as the Lancaster County Conservancy, Susquehanna National Heritage Area, Lancaster County Solid Waste Management Authority, Penn Medicine Lancaster General, Rivertownes PA USA, Pennsylvania Department of Conservation and Natural Resources, Chesapeake Bay Foundation, and municipalities along the Northwest Lancaster County River Trail.
