Part of the Susquehanna Water Trail, this primitive campsite was built by Lancaster County Solid Waste Management Authority (LCSWMA) in 2012 on Energy Island, in Conoy Township, Lancaster County, between Marietta and Bainbridge. There is a convenient path blazed from to river’s edge to the site, signage along the water trail to notify travelers of the site, a charcoal grill for camper’s use and a guest book for visitors to record their journey.

Located along the banks of the Susquehanna River in Conoy Township, this campsite features a single, 2 acre campsite with multiple tent sites on decks and organic ground. There are no formal facilities, no hook ups of any kind or running water available on site. Your reservation includes full reign of the entire campsite including all tent sites, kitchen area, solar shower bag compatible shower area, port-a-potty, portable fire ring with fire wood and Ridgeline Hammock rentals. A variety of amenities and gear rentals are available to add to your reservation.
Private access allows kayak, stand-up paddling, and other paddle boat access. Fish the river banks all day and night for the biggest catch or teach a new generation of fisherman the love of the sport. Hike or bike the Northwest Lancaster County River Trail, explore all it has to offer on its 14 mile stretch from Falmouth to Columbia during your stay.

The Muddy Run Campground consist of 189 sites including 148 trailer sites with electric and water hookups, 38 tent sites, and 3 primitive group sites. Each site has a picnic table, a charcoal grill, a fire ring, and paved parking pads. Restroom and bath facilities, sanitary dumping stations, and coin operated laundry are available.

Otter Creek Campground

Otter Creek Campground is a recreational area with facilities for camping, RV’s, picnicking, boating, and hiking. Visitors can enjoy programs and events at the campground throughout the year. Some of them can be found on the Susquehanna Riverlands calendar of events. Urey overlook, the Mason-Dixon Trail, and remnants of the historic York Furnace are all within walking distance. This is also an access point for the Susquehanna River Water Trail, managed by Susquehanna Heritage.

Pequea Creek Campground

The campground has sites along the creek and in the woods for 55 tent and tent trailers and 30 travel trailers. A group site for organized youth or outdoor organizations is available by reservation. Facilities include a day-use area, play areas, nature trails, fishing on the creek. A group picnic pavilion can be reserved for a fee. A boat ramp is within a mile of the campground.

River Pointe Campground & Marina

River Pointe Campground & Marina located along the Susquehanna River in York County provides opportunities for camping, boating, fishing, and enjoying the outdoors. Open from mid-April through the end of October. Full access to their updated pool with poolside tiki bar as well as an entertainment pavilion. The complex includes three marinas, plenty of riverside and marina adjacent campsites, hook ups, bathhouses, and restrooms. There are 12 Cabins available and 100 dock slips. Visitors can also enjoy the trails and wooded areas surrounding the campground.
