Lock 15 Historic Area

Preserved Susquehanna and tidewater canal lock

Located in southern York County, Lock 15 Access is at the site of a preserved Susquehanna & Tidewater canal lock. Lock 15 is part of the 53-mile Susquehanna River Water Trail – Lower Section, which is a National Recreation Trail. The site features an interpretive panel explaining the canal operation.
