Wrightsville Commons Park
Borough park and water trail access
Wrightsville Commons Park is located along the Susquehanna River in Wrightsville close to the John Wright Restaurant. Commons Park offers opportunities for fishing, birdwatching, launching canoes and kayaks, and sightseeing along the Susquehanna River.
The park also features interpretive panels telling of Wrightsville’s history. Bridge piers, remnants of the Civil War bridge burning of 1863, can also be found in the park. Wrightsville Commons Park Access is part of the 53-mile Susquehanna River Water Trail-Lower Section. The trail is designated as a National Recreation Trail.
