Falmouth Forest Garden at Conoy Wetlands Nature Preserve
Floodplain Forest Garden
A variety of native trees and shrubs have been reintroduced to restore the 5-acre Conoy Wetlands Nature Preserve as a floodplain forest garden. The Falmouth Forest Garden is believed to be the first established on public lands in Pennsylvania. It serves to enhance wildlife habitat as well as the experience for visitors of the Northwest River Trail.
Conoy Wetlands is accessible via the Northwest River Trail. Parking is available at the Falmouth Boat Launch. Hike south on the Northwest River Trail for approximately ¼ mile to enter the preserve. Click to open a preserve trail map.
